Lockhart, Barbara M.

Barbara M. Lockhart received her BS from the University of Maryland and her MS in creative writing from Vermont College. She has been an avid writer and has had several of her stories published in university presses. In addition to writing her own books, Barbara has coauthored, with her daughter, Lynne N. Lockhart, the children’s books Once a Pony Time at Chincoteague and Rambling Raft.

Barbara M. Lockhart has been the recipient of a Fulbright Teacher Exchange to the United Kingdom and a Maryland State Arts Council Award in Fiction for the novel-in-process.
