Schmidt, Martin F., Jr.

Martin F. Schmidt Jr. is a high school science teacher and holds a degree in science education. He was selected as Outstanding Earth Science Teacher for Maryland in 1989. He is the author of Maryland’s Geology.

Schmidt has traveled extensively to Alaska, Hawaii, and much of Western Europe, Peru, Kenya, and India to experience new places and photograph the world of nature.
