Williams, John Page, Jr.

During three decades with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, John Page Williams Jr. has served as a field guide and education director. He graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor's degree in biology and from the Presbyterian School of Christian Education in Richmond, Virginia, with a master's degree. Williams spent his early summers at Sandy Point, Maryland, and later, at the mouth of the Potomac on Virginia's Northern Neck. He discovered his love for nature while exploring, fishing, and swimming in the area's rivers. Williams is a regular contributor to Chesapeake Bay magazine and the author of several books, including Chesapeake Almanac: Following the Bay Through the Seasons, and Exploring the Chesapeake in Small Boats.
