A mystery set in a small town in Virginia, Secret of Belle Meadow features thirteen-year-old Tina and her friend Karin, whose family has owned Belle Meadow, an old farm plantation, for generations. Belle Meadow has been turned into a bed-and-breakfast inn, and Tina is working there, somewhat reluctantly, for the summer. She, Karin, and Anne are determined to find the treasure. Their search teaches them about genealogy, antiques, local history, and a bit of archaeology.
